DescriptionChinese ewer, silver mounts set with German silver coin c.1626. It has a blue and white globular body with applied handle, tall narrow neck, and painted with a scene of a river landscape with boats. There are tulip bands at the neck, foliate and scroll bands at shoulder, and clouds on the handle, and a double lappet band at the base.
