DescriptionMeissen Hausmalerei tea bowl and saucer decorated at Bayreuth by J.F. Metzsch. The three panels are painted with Cupid playing with hearts and blowing at flowers. It has gilt scrolls, cornucopias of fruit, and puce ribbons suspending bouquets of flowers and leaves. At the top masks are surmounted by baskets of flowers and with shaped gilt borders.
