Piece fired (salt glazed) in Red Deer Alberta with Chuck Wissinger
green glaze has approximately 4 % copper mixed with iron oxide, kiln is re-oxidized as the temperature drops to get the green colour, other wise it is a grungy brown, pff

green glaze is a combination of copper (4%) and iron; colour is obtained by re-oxidizing on way down in the firing cycle. This piece was fired in a salt glaze/wood firing in Red Deer, Alberta with Chuck Wissinger.
