BiographyBFA Bowling Green State University 1959; MFA Alfred University 1964. Emigrated to Canada in 1968. Taught at University of Manitoba, 1968-1991. Currently active as a studio potter. Widely collected and exhibited. Subject of a major retrospective by the Winnipeg Art Gallery in 1994. Won 2003 Governor General's Award in Visual and Media Arts. Best known for stoneware vessels inspired by traditional Japanese ceramics.
