DescriptionDu Paquier teapot and cover, probably decorated outside the factory. It is painted in shades of iron-red and black with a continuous scene of fighting knights on horseback. Along with other warriors, buildings, and a walled city in the background. There is a straight faceted spout issuing from a cartouche of scrollwork with a coronette, and the cover is attached with a gilt-metal chain.
