DescriptionA scent bottle of flat rocaille-form, moulded with scrolls on an oval base and scrolled pierced top. The bottle-neck and top are with gilt metal mounts, and the top is attached to the bottle by a small gilt chain. The scrolling is heightened with gilding, and the sides have puce garlands on a pale puce ground. On either of the flat sides the bottle is decorated with a panel containing landscapes and personnages, with one landscape of rustic and one of a formal character.
