DescriptionThe 'Dottore' stands with his right foot forward and to one side, the right hand resting on his hip, while his left is raised outwards. His face, with its large black moustache, is turned to the left. He wears a broad-brimmed, black hat turned up front, an iron-red, skirted coat with a black belt, decorated with gold around the edges, and with gilt buttons in front and on the gold-edged pockets. The black knee breeches have yellow flower rosettes, and he wears white stockings, black buckle-shoes, and a white ruff round the neck and wrist-ruffles. A full, white cloak, hangs from his shoulders to the ground. He stands on a pad base with coloured flower and leaves.
