DescriptionMeissen figure of Harlequin modelled by Peter Reinicke, on a white base applied with a puce centred flower in yellow surround with green leaves and with a tree trunk support. He is standing with his right leg forward and the left raised and to the back, his hands on his belt and his head turned to the left. He is wearing black shoes with white hose and knee breeches. His jacket is in four sections, the back left has an irregular pattern of diagonal stripes in puce, yellow and green, with the back right wholly in pale yellow. The right front has a diamond design in yellow, puce and green, and the front left wholly in white. The backs of both sleeves are white with the remaining half of the right sleeve in pale puce and corresponding part of the left sleeve with diamond design as on the jacket. The jacket has five gold buttons and a yellow bow at the neck. A brown slapstick at his left side is held in place by a black belt. His hat has a wide brim and is coloured in pale puce and trimmed with gilt. His face delicately modelled and he has a moustache.
