DescriptionFrankenthal teapot and cover by Jacob Osterspey, the oviform body painted with Europa and the bull on one side. The reverse with a satyr lifting the cover from a sleeping nymph, and scattered sprigs of flowers. There is a gilt key fret and green band border on the shoulder and on the cover, and a double ogee handle with puce terminals.
