DescriptionPair of Chelsea hexagonal jars and covers of slender ‘Hampton Court’ form. They are painted after a Japanese original with flowering plants on each sides. The sloping shoulders are enamelled with birds and flowering heads amongst a scrolling border. Below is a red key-fret bordered neck, and the knobbed cover is similarly enamelled.
