Arina Ailincai

BFA 1969 and MFA 1971 from the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Emigrated to Canada in 1980s. 1992 Visual Arts Teaching Certificate from the University of Toronto. Exhibits and teaches internationally. Creates sculptures, drawings, photographs and installations. Best known for fragmentary figures that recall classical sculptural traditions.
