DescriptionDr. Wall yellow scale spoon tray of oval shape, with scalloped and gilt-edged rim. The applied branch handles are moulded in low relief with rosebuds and tendrils continuing in diminishing relief along the rims towards the centre. Decorated on pale lemon yellow scale ground with five reserves framed with gilded feathery scrolls. Two cartouche-shaped panels are enclosing exotic birds in brilliant colours. Two vase-shaped panels are enclosing an insect, and one oval panel in the centre of the tray is enclosing a mosquito.
