DescriptionMaya painted cylinder vase, Late Classic period, of narrow form, with two rectangular panels each containing an elaborately dressed dancer with extended arms and bent right leg. There are panels of vertical glyphs between, and bands of glyphs above. It is painted in deep orange on a white ground.
