DescriptionMaya chocolate-drinking polychrome vase, Southern Campeche, Late Classic period, of tall slender shape with a seated man and a standing woman serenading a young lord seated on a throne before them. There is a woman holding a tall vase and another attendant behind the throne, with glyphs above and down one side. It is freely painted in black, brown and pale orange on a white ground.
