DescriptionQuimbaya seated figure, Late Classic period, of rectangular flattened form with hands resting on the raised knees. He has a large projecting nose and pierced septum, with incised eyes and mouth. Also it has large perforations across the forehead and chest, incised geometric bands on the arms and legs, and is wearing suspended gold ring from the nose. It is painted in orange with areas of black and white pigment remaining.
