DescriptionJama Coaque Phase standing figure, Manabi Region, Ecuador, Regional Developmental Period, with hands resting on knees. The hands also hold a coca paraphernalia and there is coca in the cheeks. The figure wears large ear spools with gold paint, nose ornament, necklace, and breastplate. As well there are bands on the wrists and legs and the elaborate headdress has appliquéd decoration.
