DescriptionNicoya jaguar tripod vessel, Late Period VI, with thick rattle legs, projecting jaguar head with open mouth. The vessel has heavy covered eyes, rounded ears, and three small handles. The tondo has a highly stylized avial head. It is painted in black and orange on a cream ground.
