DescriptionChestnut basket of lobed oval shape, moulded with florets in the hexagonal cell-pattern. The stand and cover are pierced, and all have applied crab-stock handles with flower sprays. They are painted in colours, the interior with gilt mirror-shaped cartouches of exotic birds, flowers, butterflies and insects, in reserve on a blue scale ground. The exterior has pink flower-heads on a yellow ground.
