DescriptionA Posset Pot, a two handled bowl of inverted bell shape. It is pale reddish earthenware covered in white slip with decoration in dark brown, olive green and touches of white slip (liquid clay), with overall lead glaze. There is a horizontal bank of alternating daisy and tulip motifs, and below, vertical bars with wheels and four-leaf clovers.
