DescriptionA Dutch 'Hausmaler' decorated Chinese teapot and matching Dutch Delft cover. The lobed melon-shaped pot is painted in two panels with European figures, buildings and lakes surrounded by mountains. It is reserved on a rouge-de-fer cell diaper ground with peony and prunus blossom in yellow, blue and red, with a loop handle that has a leafy twig terminal.
