DescriptionBayreuth Hausmaler bowl, painted by J. P. Dannhofer. On the exterior, in pale colours and gilding, there is a continuous scene showing a seated dignitary on a gilt chair on a circular dais issuing commands to his attendants. They are in a garden with flowering plants and a summer-house. The interior has a gilt-scroll border.
