DescriptionMeissen 'Turkenkannchen' and covers each with baluster body raised on a short foot and applied with a double-scroll handle and animal-head spout. They are decorated around the body with bands of gilt scrollwork, including panels of estuary scenes in colours and purple camaieu. The central band enriched with flowering Asian-style shrubs. The high domed covers have painted pine-cone finials.
