DescriptionA Meissen purple ground tea caddy and cover of rectangular shape decorated on each side with quatrefoil reserves of country scenes. These include a village with a stream running through the middle, another with a water mill and the two narrow sides with quayside scenes. These are within gilt lacework borders on a powdered purple ground.
