DescriptionAn extremely rare and very early Bow shell salt or spice dish, modelled after an original design by J.A. Meissonier, which was engraved by Gabriel Huquier, in the 'Silver Taste', formed as a scallp shell on a triple shell support of Carribean conus Gigas shells further applied with native English estuary shells such as limpets, turret shells and cockles.
