DescriptionAn Urbino Istoriato dates alzata dish, painted by Francesco Xanto Avelli da Rovigo. It has a scene from Aeneid with Dido, Aeneas, Ascanius and attendants around tripod tables in a classical interior with a hanging. The reverse is inscribed in blue.
