DescriptionAn Urbino Istoriato plate decorated in the manner of Francesco Xanto Avelli with scenes from the story of Leda and the Swan. It is showing on the left Cupid with Jove already partly in the form of a swan, and on the right his encounter with Leda. There is a shield bearing three addorsed crescents hanging above.
