DescriptionNayarit standing female figure, Late Formative period, with heavy legs, deeply incised eyes and mouth, holding a diminutive vessel to her right shoulder. There is a small bowl on the left, and centrally-parted striated coiffure. The figure is painted in deep reddish-orange with black resist geometric patterns, particularly on her thighs and buttocks.
