DescriptionJalisco seated mother and child figure, Late Formative period, with crossed legs, holding small boy on her lap. Slightly parted lips, ridged eyes, centrally-parted smooth coiffure, and wearing skirt. The figure is painted in deep reddish-orange with areas of buff and ochre.
