DescriptionHemi-spherical bowl, probably the “Havre” shape. Hand-painted with wide brush strokes in overglaze enamel colours of tomato red, mustard yellow, pale pea green and medium blue. The bottom of the interior is yellow with a band of blue above, both edged in pea green and red below the rim. The rim and upper band around the outside is blue with a band of squares with oval “eyes” painted in all of the colours below it. The lower 1/3 of the exterior is red. The colours are quite strong.
