DescriptionArita circular nigoshide Teabowl and saucer with rim lined in fuchi-beni. Both pieces are enamelled in red, turquoise, blue, black and gilding with a bijin (court beauty) listening to the song of a nightingale perched upon a cage at the edge of a veranda. They have a tasseled awning above and other birds in flight, and the interior has a five-pointed floret.
