DescriptionMeissen silver-gilt mounted covered ewer of pear shape. It is painted and gilt in the Kakiemon style with flowering peonies issuing from rockwork and with borders of scrolling foliage and flowerheads. The mounts has a shell thumbpiece, ball hinge and a plain foot.
