DescriptionThe standing figure of Harlequin in controposto, leaning against a tree stump. He is holding his hat and slapstick, and is raised on a scrolled Rococo base, and mounted on a tall swelling cartouche-shaped pedestal terminating in an oblong octagonal base. Harlequin is dressed in a green-edged yellow suit with a turquoise hat, and the base is painted in apple-green, while the pedestal is edged with puce scrolls.
