MarkingsImpressed "MINTONS" and swan figure as well as other impressed marks; transfer-printed mark of a globe with "MINTONS" in a band across, a crown above, "TIFFANY & CO." below and "NEW YORK, MADE IN ENGLAND" below all. 'G8332' painted overglaze in orange'.
DescriptionBoth plates have Rococo edge and an embossed pattern on the wide rim. It is decorated in a wide border pattern of gold honeycomb over apple green ground. The centre is painted with pheasants in a woodland setting, one is a winter scene, other is a summer, nocturnal scene, and both scenes are signed A. H. Wright.
