DescriptionChinese porcelain oviform jar and cover of ovoid form (Guan-shape) with inward sloping neck. It is supported on a tall straight foot, incised with classic scroll border at the shoulder and shallow domed cover. Decorated in underglaze blue with a qilin, goat, a lion-dog and a mythical beast seated among rockwork, foliage and mountains and cloud scrolls.
