DescriptionMochica moulded stirrup-spout bottle, Early Intermediate Period, Moche V Phase, each side with confronted combating warriors elaborately dressed. Each is holding a knife, surmounted by a double strap, and are decorated with a crouching monkey. It is on a dotted field, and the spout painted with a club and shield design. It is painted in dark brown on a cream ground.
