DescriptionMochica stirrup-spout bottle, Early Intermediate Phase, with rounded body, each side moulded with a canoe holding two kneeling figures back-to-back and rowing. The sides of the strap handle moulded with crouching feline figures. It is painted in brownish-orange and dark brown on a tan ground, which has beans, circles, clubs, spears, and other geometric designs.
