DescriptionA Meissen Hausmaler dish with fluted sides painted in the workshop of Franz Mayer of Pressnitz. It is decorated with God the Father showing Adam the world on the sixth day of its Creation. It is enriched by a dense wreath of flowers, and the gilt scrollwork has four lambrequins including grotesques in sepia.
