DescriptionMeissen snuffbox, the exterior moulded with garlands of flowers and the portrait Augustus III in medallions on the lid and the bottom, in low relief. The inner lid has a coloured portrait of Augustus Rex, with the lower interior gilded. Painting attributed to Johann Martin Heinrici (1711-86) after a portrait by Louis de Silvestre (1675-1760)
