DescriptionA Meissen yellow-ground cylindrical chocolate-pot and cover with bird's-head spout and ivory handle. It is painted with Turkish and European merchants in extensive river landscapes within shaped quatrefoil cartouches. The shoulder has scattered flower sprays, and the cover has ormolu finial.
