DescriptionBerlin écuelle cover and stand from the "Japanische Service" made for Frederick the Great. It is painted with chinoiserie subjects after Pillement within straw-yellow borders reserved with iron-red floral sprays with linked gilt ovals. The cover with bud-knob, and the crabstock handles decorated in green and red.
