DescriptionMeissen figure of Cupid in disguise as Harlequin, the winged youth stands on a flat base, with applied leaves and a flower. He stands on one foot, his left hand almost holds the handle of his bat and his right hand holds a conical hat which he has doffed. This Cupid has a black mask and a chequered full length costume in yellow, blue, pink and gold. Decorated after 1802.
