DescriptionHöchst figure of Scaramouche from the Commedia dell'Arte series. Standing in a theatrical pose, his left leg raised and turning outward with his expression animated. He is wearing a black cap and a black jacket trimmed in iron-red, with a flowing tunic, breeches and full-length stockings of the same colour. He has a white ruff, and his left arm is behind him holding a blue bag, while his outstretched right hand is holding sealed envelopes. The figure is supported on a shaped tall rectangular base with chamfered corners, trimmed in blue and with blue shell-moulded motif.
