DescriptionA "Girl-in-a-Swing" type Chinese musicians scent bottle and a gold-mounted stopper. It is modelled as a young woman wearing a yellow and rose costume, seated and playing a lute. Her companion wearing a rose-feathered headdress, a rose-sprigged white jacket and black trousers, leaning against a green and iron-red palm tree and playing a lavender flute. There is a domed base with a row of shaded green petals. The concave underside has a pink rose sprig, and the stopper is formed as a bird. The bottle neck is mounted in gilt-metal, and the stopper is mounted in gold.
