DescriptionChelsea gold-mounted gardener and dog scent bottle and stopper. It is modelled as a man wearing a puce jacket, yellow breeches and a green hat. He is seated on rockwork moulded with a blue forget-me-not plant, a black-spotted dog at his feet, with a white basket of colourful flowers on his back. It is surmounted by a stopper formed of forget-me-nots, on a domed base moulded with scrolls heightened in gilding. The concave underside is painted in gilding with a central floral sprig within a dentil border. The bottle and stopper necks are mounted in gold.
