DescriptionA Champion's Bristol cup and saucer from the service made for Mrs. Jane Burke. It is decorated in colours with figures representing Liberty and Plenty beside a plinth supporting a figure of Cupid with a torch and bearing on the front the arms of Burke impaling Nugent above a Latin inscription. The rims have borders of gilt-trellis diaper on a yellow ground edged in gilt scrolls.
