DescriptionA Pinxton yellow-ground sugar bowl, painted in the manner of William Billingsley in purple monochrome with an oval gilt foliage cartouche. It is reserved in a brilliant canary-yellow-ground painted in grey with swags of drapery and foliage suspended from stylised inverted urns from a border of gilt foliage.
