DescriptionWrotham dated jug by George Richardson, with the bulbous body covered in a brown glaze and applied with medallions enclosing fleurs-de-lys, animals, and flowerheads. It is covered in a cream slip, and the lower part has shallow groves enriched with dots. The neck has a band of scrolling foliage and rosettes enclosing fleurs-de-lys, and the strap handle is enriched with dots.
