DescriptionWheelthrown enclosed stoneware form containing clay pellets that produce a rattling sound.
With this delicate pot, Takaezu wrapped the pellets in paper. She then closed the pot and trimmed it by hand and gently paddled the whole form with her bare hands. She made this work after completing a weekend workshop at "The Pottery" in North Hatley, Quebec where Dean Mullavey was teaching.
