MarkingsFretted square seal in underglaze blue, which has “bled” in the firing.
DescriptionCoffepot of pear shape with scroll handle and high domed cover with flower and leaf finial. It is painted in colours with the “Queen Charlotte” pattern of spiraling bands of foliage and scrollwork in puce and iron-red. They are alternating with white scrolls on a blue ground, with details picked out in gold, and gilt decoration.
