DescriptionMeissen two-handled double-lipped sauceboat enamelled in the Kakiemon style. The interior has a bird in flight above flowering chrysanthemum plants issuing from rocky mounds. There is an insect and a floral sprig at either lip, and the rim is bordered by a formal red pattern with circular gilt drops. The exterior and handles are painted with floral sprigs.
